To develop a love for others that is free from anger and resentment, we need to forgive whatever harm was done in the past and learn to accept the way people behave in the present. We can accomplish this by developing a clear understanding of people’s hidden nature. Motivation for Meditation

Meditate every day. It’s easy to say but difficult to do, even for experienced practitioners. This class will help us overcome our obstacles – including those we create in our own minds. Increase your understanding of how the mind works and get practical tips on motivation, time management and concentration. By meditating on these teachings and  applying these practical insights to our daily lives, we will experience what we had not imagined possible: a deep inner freedom and peace that is independent of our circumstances. General Information:

  • We are located in Boerum Hill at 444 Atlantic Avenue, between Nevins & Bond Streets – a short walk from most major subway lines!

  • All weekly classes are suitable for practitioners of all levels, including beginners.

  • Pre-registration is not required.

  • While classes are presented as a series, you are welcome to drop in on any individual class.

  • No special clothing is necessary.

  • We offer both chairs and cushions for sitting.

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to sign in and get comfortable.
