Death and Dying, A Buddhist Perspective

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11

Time: 11am – 2pm
Teacher: Kadam Kyle Davis
Cost: Free for members, $25 for non-members

We were born, and so we will die. This stark truth is the foundation of Buddha’s teachings on impermanence. Embracing our mortality frees us from the anxieties and stress of normal daily life and helps us make the most of our time.

In this half-day workshop, we explore how to meditate on death and impermanence, and how these special meditations can help us live in the present. We’ll also consider what happens at the time of death and how to prepare.

While the subject may feel taboo at first, experiencing its practical depth and power to free the mind can be both inspiring and uplifting. Everyone is welcome!
