Overcoming Loneliness

Saturday, February 9   •   10:30 am – 1 pm
Free for members   •   $25 for non-members

We live in a busy, crowded city. Yet we can still feel lonely. Happily, meditation can transform our fear of being alone by helping us access our innate joy and contentment. By developing confidence, love and a deep inner peace, we can learn to enjoy our life whether we are in a crowd or by ourselves.

Our classes start on time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to register and get comfortable.

We are an all-volunteer run organization. Pre-registration, when available, helps us tremendously by lowering our processing fees, helping us staff according to demand and streamlining the check-in process for our class assistants!

General Information:

  • We are located in Boerum Hill at 444 Atlantic Avenue, between Nevins & Bond Streets – a short walk from most major subway lines!

  • All of our programming is suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners – unless otherwise noted.

  • If offered, pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.

  • No special clothing is necessary, and we offer both chairs and cushions for sitting.

  • Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to sign in and get comfortable. We do our best to start and end on time, and your help is appreciated!
