Joyful-life Training

To live a life of joy, we need to practice joy. This perspective-changing advice was taught by the Buddha 2,500 years ago and remains powerfully relevant today. Training our minds day-by-day, using Buddha's wisdom, we can develop and enjoy a satisfying and meaningful meditation practice. Relying on the book How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, this series will take us into the heart of joyful mind-training practice.

Special Valentine’s Day Class: True Love Is Possible

Buddha taught that real love will always produce peace and joy, never pain and suffering. So why do our relationships often come bundled with hurt and conflict? In this special Valentine Day workshop, we’ll learn the difference between love and attachment—a distinction that brings amazing clarity to our relationship problems and helps us enjoy more peaceful, satisfying partnerships going forward.

The evening will include meditation, a dharma talk with Kadam Matthew Riechers, and a group discussion looking at how love and attachment are manifesting in our current relationships with partners, friends, family and coworkers. There will also be delicious Valentine’s sweets and treats!
