Many of us feel overwhelmed—pulled in different directions by all the responsibilities and relationships competing for our time. No matter how much we get done in a day, it never seems like enough. There is a way out! Buddhist teachings can help us find inner peace even when our to-do list seems to stretch on forever. In this workshop, we’ll learn practices and meditations that reduce feelings of overwhelm on the spot, along with strategies that will keep us from getting stressed out in the first place.
Our classes start on time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to register and get comfortable.
We are an all-volunteer run organization. Pre-registration, when available, helps us tremendously by lowering our processing fees, helping us staff according to demand and streamlining the check-in process for our class assistants!
We are located in Boerum Hill at 444 Atlantic Avenue, between Nevins & Bond Streets – a short walk from most major subway lines!
All of our programming is suitable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners – unless otherwise noted.
If offered, pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.
No special clothing is necessary, and we offer both chairs and cushions for sitting.
