By viewing our life and our potential in a positive light, we can maintain inner peace during stressful times, and even use anxiety-producing situations to learn deep lessons about the mind and how to maintain a peaceful heart. Using meditation to train in new understandings, we can free ourselves from these crippling states to be increasingly available to others and to ourselves.
